Brief Description Of Our Organization
Who Are We?
The Legion of Mary is an association of Catholics who, with the sanction of the Church and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, mediatrix of all Graces (who is fair as the moon, bright as the sun and terrible as an army set in battle array).
The Legion of Mary was founded by frank duff with a group of women in September 1921.
MEETING DAYS
Our meeting days are schedules as follows.
Saturday immediately after the morning Mass Our lady mother most chaste senior presidium holds her meeting.
Sunday’s immediately after 8:30am mass Our lady comforter of all the afflicted senior presidium and our lady refuge of sinners senior presidium holds their meetings.
The Junior presidium holds their meetings every Saturdays 2:30pm.

PROGRAMMES HELD DURING THESE PERIOD
1-January 1st: Peace procession, St Agnes Maryland
2-March 26th: Acies, ST HILDA Catholic Church. Obadore.
3-May Devotion: 2023 some members participated.
September 24th: Blessed virgin Mary’s birthday members participated fully.
4-October Devotion: some member participated
IMPACT ON THE CHURCH/OUR PARISH
The Legion of Mary is highly at the forefront of the Church’s evangelism. Some of the works we do includes home to home visitations: through visitation of some parishioners we have been able to bring many back to the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion and Holy matrimony.

Loss of members: some of our members gained admission into higher institution, some of our active member have also relocated
