Brief Description Of Our Organization
Who Are We?
Apostleship of Prayer, League of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a Pope’s World-Wide Prayer Group. It is a pious society. A member of this League is devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary. The main aim of this Society is to adore the Heart of Jesus in the Eucharist and also to console the Heart of Jesus from the sins of the whole world and reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary whose Heart was pierced with sorrow.
ACTIVITIES
- Thursday Adoration: Every Thursday by 5pm.
- First Sunday of the Month: Thanksgiving and 1st Sunday devotion.
- First Friday of the Month: 1st Friday devotion by 5:30pm.
- First Saturday of the Month: 1st Saturday devotion to the Immaculate Heart of

Membership Welfare
Achievements.
We engage in a house visitation for our ailing members or those who suffers loss of loved ones, and also those that births a new baby.
2023 PROGRAMMES
- Feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus – June 17th 2023.
- Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in which six (6) members were consecrated – 16th June 2023.
- Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in which six (6) members were consecrated – 18th of June 2023.
- Eucharistic Adoration – 27th May, 2023

Challenges And Way Forward
LUKEWARM MEMBERS: We have a lot of members who are lukewarm and hardly participate in all our activities.
FINANCIAL CONSTRAINT: Due to the fact that this is a pious society, we do not have financial capacity to see to our financial obligations. We raise fund mostly through freewill donations which has not been easy because of limited number of members participating.
MEETING DAY: Our meeting day suppose to be on every first Sunday of the month after first Sunday devotion as in other Parishes but because Parish Laity meeting, we’ve not been able to have our meeting
Way Forward
We plan to engage in general sensitization program to enable people know more about our society and what it entails, this way we would be able to gain more members.
